AGBL-Egypt was glad to conduct its first Proteomics Workshop “Post-genomic Era of Molecular Biology” at the German University in Cairo (GUC) in an attempt to bridge the gap between the Theoretical Information/Techniques and their Applications in the Research Field
Molecular biology is a broad area of study aimed at the common goal of understanding the mechanisms of basic cellular function. During the workshop the researchers went through the complete process of working with PROTEOMICS techniques from cell disruption and biomolecules isolation to finally proteome analysis.
The main output target of this training course was to improve network communication and information exchange of members of the scientific society of biotechnology with national and regional institutions.
The important goal was to train young scientists in the field of Molecular Biology; this provided an opportunity for cooperation between professionals and interested attendants.
