Genomics team from AGBL HQ had participated in AUS Environment Day 2019 held at American University in Sharjah. This special event for high school students focused on environmental and sustainability issues. Highlights of the day included:

- The Sustainable Schools Poster Competition
- Engaging science topics leading to high-impact careers
- Booths from industry, government and NGOs where AUS graduates are working
- A chance to learn more about the AUS bachelor’s degree programs in biology, chemistry and environmental sciences
