AGBL participated in the 2nd Arab Forensic Science & Forensic Science Meeting at NAIF University from the 8th – 9th of November 2016

This international event was attended by forensic scientists, medicolegal experts, pathologists and delegates from forensic science institutions, academia, judiciary, security organizations and industry. The meeting was held at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, which is a unique educational institution in the Arab world and is situated in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NAUSS specializes in advanced security related studies at postgraduate level in the form of diplomas, master’s degrees and doctorate programs. NAUSS, an institution of regional and international reputation, aims to serve all Arab nations in providing higher education and professional training to its security personnel for the purpose of law and justice. This meeting explored the latest developments in forensic science and forensic medicine, and discussed the current state of knowledge and skills in different fields of forensic science and the role of these specializations in actualizing security and justice in all areas of life, regionally and internationally. This meeting also identified educational, training, and professional needs to improve the quality of forensic science practice, education and research in the Arab world.
