CelltraZone and Alliance Global Group sign an exclusive distribution agreement

Alliance Global Group and 10x Genomics Enter into an Exclusive Partnership

10x Genomics, Inc., a company focused on expanding genomics applications including single-cell research, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Alliance Global FZ LLC to bring the Chromium™ System and solutions for genome, exome and single cell analysis to the Middle East and African (MEA) markets.

10x Genomics recently launched the Chromium Single Cell Controller which is a massively scalable tool for comprehensive single cell analysis. Alliance Global Group signs Agreement with Bio Molecular System’s to Distribute MIC qPCR instrument

Dubai, December 2015. Bio Molecular Systems; (QLD, Australia) signed an exclusive distribution agreement with the Alliance Global Group (Dubai, UAE) to promote its next generation qPCR instrument; the MIC in AGBL’s markets.

Bio Molecular Systems (BMS) manufactures the MIC qPCR thermal cycler; the world’s first compact Magnetic Induction Cycler. Developed by the Corbett Research team who invented the Rotorgene cycler, MIC uses a patented magnetic induction technology to achieve uniform heating and forced airflow for cooling, this means faster ramping of temperature and more accurate and uniform heating and cooling processes. Alliance Global Group to Distribute Invivoscribe Technologies, Inc. Products in Emerging Markets

Alliance Global, Amgen Team on Cancer Mutation Testing in Middle East and Africa

Alliance Global has signed an agreement with Amgen to provide cancer mutation testing in certain countries in the Middle East and Africa.

The partners have established a program to provide next-generation sequencing-based screening to identify colorectal cancer patients who have mutations in the RAS family of genes. They will utilize Illumina’s MiSeqDx platform in screening the patients.

Illumina and Amgen announced last month that they would collaborate on the development of a MiSeqDx-based companion diagnostic for Amgen’s colorectal cancer drug Vectibix (panitumumab). That companion test is intended to identify patients’ RAS mutation status.

Alliance Global and Amgen will begin the screening program in Algeria, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Kuwait, with additional countries in the Middle East and Africa expected to follow. Alliance Global said that it will work with Amgen Middle East to select and qualify labs throughout the region to provide the testing, and will supply all necessary instrumentation, assay materials, and training.
